Kim Goodwin’s custom Marilyn dolls
I wasn’t really into collecting Marilyn dolls, although I do have 3 Mattel dolls. A few years ago I came across a very talented make up artist named Kim Goodwin. He does the make up of Sharon Stone, Elizabeth Taylor and some more great stars.
He is also very gifted in transforming Franklin Mint vinyl dolls into more perfect Marilyn Monroe dolls.
I was trying to see if I could get into contact with mister Goodwin because I think it would be really interesting to interview him for the website about his love for Marilyn and his dolls. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to contact him. If anyone else does know a way, please let me know!

I live in Belgium, but I’m planning to go on holiday to the USA, so I was wondering if I can find them in New york?
And can I buy the porselain dolls from Kim Goodwin somewhere too?

You can search on ebay “marilyn monroe porcelain doll” or just Marily Monroe doll. You will find A LOT of things simetimes expensive it depends. Thos porcelain doll are not from Mattel but you can find some Marilyn dolls from Mattel I love them <3
Thanks FredMonroe! Indeed, the porcelain dolls are useally from Franklin Mint. The dolls in this article are the basis of Franklin Mint dolls but are customized by Kim Goodwin. Unfortunately, these are not for sale.
Hi, I am looking for a franklin mint marilyn doll the one from the seven year itch, ive looked on ebay and had no luck i’m from the UK, i have emailed franklin mint to see if they still sell this doll i originally bought it from them about 15 years ago and today my cat has broken it, i’m trying to repair it but the face is badly damaged, do you know anyone or anywhere that ships to the UK and isnt too expensive? I love the dolls above there so much better than the franklin ones shame there not for sale. and i love your site too

I have been a fan of Marilyn Monroe all my life. Kim Goodwin’s dolls are absolutely beautiful, I lost my lovely friend on my birthday and the last item she brought me was a marilyn Monroe Picture, which I have got on my bedroom wall. I would love to buy one of these dolls if you could help me or find out where I can purchase one I would be very grateful.
